Ground Penetrating Radar Survey
Tech27 is a leading service provider in underground utility mapping. Our comprehensive underground utility survey team uses Ground Penetrating Radar technology to detect all types of underground utilities. GPR scanner is a device that uses radio waves to detect buried objects which includes metal and plastic pipes, subsurface drainage system and channels, electricity, telecom and fiber optic cables. Once detected a physical markup is created on the ground for easy identification for site personnel. Also, the final survey results are presented in the form of a CAD drawing with all underground information accurately recorded on to a topographical survey report.
Our team is capable of handling projects of all volumes and dimensions. We have a good mix of survey equipment and software required for maximizing ground penetration for capturing accurate details of all buried objects.
- Avoid clashes with underground objects and prevent service disruption.
- Locates metallic as well as non-metallic utilities.
- Rapid data acquisition and versatility.
- It’s a safe, non-destructive method for detecting hidden elements.
- Avoid destroying the structure.
- Instant feedback on sub-surface structures, quick control of system setup.
- Quickly and easily view and note anomalies in three dimensions.

Site survey and raw scan
Depending on the soil condition and moisture level we use different antenna and associate equipment for optimum penetration and data quality. Our site surveyors are highly competent and will use different tools to improve survey productivity.
Offsite data processing
We have a team of geophysical data experts and experienced site surveyors who process the data using the latest software. Once complete detail drawings and reports are created for client verification and approval.
A detail GIS models with utilities and markups can we be produced for virtual walkthroughs both above and subsurface. Raw scan data, utility details and any information can be tagged, overlaid using our ZooomDoc software tool.
